What's happening

Prof. Chen will speak at the Sage Sociology Research Forum, Into the Field: Multiple Practices of Sociological Research Methods (走進研究現場：社會學研究方法的多重實踐), on October 15, 2026, 13:30–14:00, in the Lo Chia-Lun Lecture Hall, 7F, Dah Hsian Seng Library, National Chengchi University. The talk (生命歷程的變奏：從縱貫資料到量化分析) discusses studying the life course with longitudinal data and quantitative analysis. Event details and registration (registration closes October 14).

Prof. Chen gave invited talks at the Department of Nursing, Sophia University; the Department of Sociology, Airlangga University; and the Department of Sociology, National University of Singapore.

Prof. Chen was named a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America, recognizing outstanding contributions to the field of aging.
